Mission of the Institute:
Promoting the formation and development of civil society in Ukraine by involving the public in decision-making by public authorities and local self-government, the legal education of citizens, and the improvement of legislation in the field of non-commercial law and local self-government.
During the period of activity of the Institute, dozens of studies were conducted in certain areas.

In total, over the course of 2008-2014, the Institute worked on over three hundred NPA projects, and prepared over one hundred analytical materials.
The materials prepared by the CSO experts come to the People’s Deputies of Ukraine in the form of Heralds, are posted on the CBS website and sent by e-mail.
